FOUNDING ATTORNEYS
Our founding attorneys are Board Certified Estate Planning & Administration Specialists, certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization, with combined experience of 45 years of practice in the field of estate planning, special needs planning, succession, asset protection, and long-term care planning. As a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, we are part of a nationwide network of estate planning attorneys and retirement and tax specialists.
RONDA M. GABB
Ronda is a Board-Certified Estate Planning and Administration Specialist, certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. She founded the law firm of Ronda M. Gabb & Associates, LLC, in 1999, and ever since has been devoted to serving and educating the Metropolitan New Orleans Area in the field of estate planning and elder law. In 2021, she and Ronald “Chip” Morrison Jr., partnered to form GABB MORRISON LLP, a boutique law firm, which is 100% dedicated to Estate Planning, Successions, and long-term care planning. Ronda enjoys lecturing to professional and community groups regarding estate planning, financial planning, and elder law issues. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans, and juris doctor from Tulane Law School. Ronda is also a member of the Louisiana Successions and Donations Committee, helping fine-tune, revise, and update Louisiana Civil Code on these matters. She is also a member of the Governor’s Elder Law Task Force, and the Northshore Estate Planning Council. Ronda is a native Louisianian, born and raised in New Orleans, a resident of the Northshore since 1988.
Ronald “Chip” Morrison Jr.
“Chip” is a Board Certified Estate Planning Law Specialist as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization with over 20 years of experience. He is a trusted legal advisor for families and businesses throughout Louisiana, with expertise in estate planning, successions, asset protection, and special needs planning. Known for his approachable and friendly demeanor, Chip consistently exceeds client expectations by offering personalized legal solutions and meticulous attention to detail.
In 2023, Chip received the Leadership in Law award from New Orleans City Business, recognizing his excellence and contributions to the legal profession. He continues to sharpen his skills through ongoing professional development, including his appointment to the Board of Governors with the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys.
Beyond his legal work, Chip is passionate about giving back to the community. He partners with organizations like the Autism Society of Greater New Orleans and Families Helping Families to support those in need.
Chip earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of New Orleans and graduated Cum Laude with his Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana.
A proud resident of the Northshore, Chip embraces Louisiana’s outdoor lifestyle by hunting, fishing, cheering for LSU, and enjoying crawfish boils with his family.
